Rusty headset August 27, 2010 ioich They do a good job for the gymn, but after 9months they've gone rusty on ear pieces gauze & the screws. Not the kind of build quality one would expect from Sennheiser, especially for a product designed for a humid environment.
Real Quality & Real value - Make the step up. August 22, 2010 Chris_Oz Hi, been running for a year or so and have never got on with ipod ear phone or in your ear options so have always has the clip on sport ones for which a decent pair will cost you £10-£15 on the high street. Eventually a few pairs down the line, either wear & tear or one ear phone goes I opted to step up for these and their great, sound quality is amazingly better withou being over bearing, at first they felt a little uncomfortable but after a couple of runs I hardly noticed I was wearing them. Definately recommend and are a bargain at £17 assuming they last me well, they do come in the most ridiculous amount of packaging ever, tons of cardboard to be recycled. plus they never get tangles which is nice!
A must buy for anyone doing some decent activity and need to run to the beat,
Chris
Excellent sports headphones August 21, 2010 V. Reed I love these headphones. They deliver great sound without annoying other gym users. Not ideal for exercises where your head is in contact with bench or floor, but I just push the band a bit lower towards my neck and they're fine. Very good purchase, makes such a difference and one that I hadn't expected, wish I'd bought them ages ago.
Sennheiser PMX80 seriously lacks bass! August 20, 2010 Hen. Roma First time that I have ever felt compelled to write a review on Amazon. Ergonomically they' re excellent, but sound wise they are just rubbish. No bass whatsoever, the only way to make it less rubish is to use the EQ and select Bass Booster, but still no major changes. If I knew this I would have never bough them. Total disappointment!!!!!
They work! August 16, 2010 LouLou Have been using'in ear' plugs since taking up running a few weeks back. OK up to 5k but after that just always popping out. Read many reviews of these earphones before deciding to give them a try. They have totally improved my running as I can now concentrate on the run and not be constantly fiddling with my ears.
My only worry is that they seem to bleed alot of noise but as everyone else in the gym is also wearing headphones this doesn't cause me any worry. Saying that though I have not tried to wear them whilst running outdoors, as they also seem to block out all other noise and I would be concerned that I would not hear outside noises.
A good product, highly recommended.
