It's a Star! September 3, 2010 E. Gomes Hulshof (Guildford, UK) This not only does what's expected but it also works in both directions.
The reason I bought this was because I needed multiple inputs going into the same plug in the line in, and this did exactly that, the only problem (but an expected problem), is that because you are taking multiple inputs it does reduce the strength of the individual inputs because it does not have any pre-amp, and it isn't powered. But for the little hack job that I bought this for, it works brilliantly.
Don't bother! September 2, 2010 Peter Kingsbury (Scotland) I have bought 2 of these and they are both broken. There appears to be a loose connection in the plug of both. They haven't been misused, and, as it has happened to two, I can only assume it is not a one-off. You may not have a choice if you really need to split into 5, but if you can manage some other way, I would strongly advise you do so.
Great! August 31, 2010 Makinis I loved it... Great for listening music with all your friends!
Toke it for a trip and it was a success :)
Belkin Rockstar Multi-Headphone Splitter August 22, 2010 millie bob (uk) Smart and stylish, but it does loose a lot of volume when connecting extra headphones. I was using it on a portable DVD player, maybe it works better on Ipods
